You may wonder how, at this very young age, my co-founder and I managed to scale our previous version of SuamiSihat® (an integrated men’s health ecommerce, clinic, and pharmacy partnership)
Into RM24 million (USD 4.7 million) in accumulated sales in just five years.
Surprisingly, we’re not doctors or men’s health experts (yet).
We’re just fresh graduates in Physics and Engineering.
By only bootstrapping, we’ve served almost 90,000 husbands in Malaysia, enhancing their sexual wellness and marital harmony through SuamiSihat® (which translates to “Happy Husbands”).
And no, we aren’t married yet😅
It All Started 7 Years Ago
Both of us were born in Banting, a rural village in Selangor.
We went to different high schools but eventually met during our university days.
At university, we shared the same side hustle: ecommerce.
Coming from middle-class families, we chose to self-fund our tuition and daily expenses through our ecommerce businesses.
Online business was a major factor for us.
From reading motivational books to listening to business and marketing podcasts, the internet era allowed us to break free from financial struggles.
Initially, we sold anything trending – from clothes to phones.
Eventually, we started selling legitimate men’s health supplements.
We doubled down on this niche after realizing the market was flooded with ridiculous black-market solutions.
Selling clinically proven supplements gave us an edge and a clear product-market fit.
We expanded from selling a single brand to diversifying our product choices, building a community focused on men’s health.
This community isn’t just for customers; it’s a movement for men’s health.
We discuss sexual health topics anonymously, host webinars with experts, and even organize physical events.
Our community’s needs led us to partner with 200 pharmacies across Malaysia.
To provide real prescribed medication, we built our flagship physical men’s wellness clinics and partnered with other licensed clinics.
And yes, the “community effect” has been our secret sauce for growth.
Now, we’re essentially function as an ecosystem for men’s sexual health.
Reflecting on this journey, it’s been a crazy ride for two young guys from the same village to achieve all of this.
But, the progress isn’t over.
It actually marks a new beginning..

Our journey with SuamiSihat started from a simple realization: men’s sexual health issues like erectile dysfunction and low libido are alarmingly prevalent.
Five years into this journey, we’ve found that over 50% of men aged 30-70 experience some form of sexual issues.
Despite the severity, we found that the real issue is the stigma surrounding these problems, not the problems themselves.
Many men avoid seeking help due to embarrassment and societal pressures, which exacerbates their conditions, leading to strained relationships and deteriorating mental health.
Existing service providers offer fragmented and insufficient solutions that fail to address the comprehensive needs of men facing these issues.
Generic health platforms and black-market solutions do not provide the reliable, discreet, and effective support required to make a meaningful impact.
This gap in the market presented a significant opportunity for us to create a holistic and innovative approach.
The only key to unlocking the full market size is the force of destigmatizing men’s sexual problems and providing comprehensive, effective support.
